    If a mother getting SSI gets her child support dropped can her visits get stopped?
    My steph daughters mother got her child support dropped due to she gets SSI. Is that legal and can we get her visits stopped?

    This is a legal (family law) question and I have asked that it be moved.

    Child support and visitation are two different things - one does not hinge on the other. The fact that she is not paying support is not grounds to limit or stop visitation.

    The father of the child will very probably have to go back to Court to address the SSI/support issue. Here is the info you need: Child Support Payments and the SSI Program
