    Can hedges 1 foot high live if dug up in June in New Jersey
    Could hedges in New Jersey soil if dug up in June (1 Foot tall ) survive to be planted again

    They will be okay to transplant if you replant immediately and not let them lay around for even two days. Lots of water in the holes you dig to transplant. Are these cedar hedges? If so, cedar hedging grows like weeds, are very hardy. You may have some browning on the bottom but not to worry as long as you tend them. Use some compost material to feed.
