    What is the average weight at 12
    I am 12 years old and I think I am over weight I try to go on a diet but my parents bring home all these sweets and I can't help but eat the at school people call me fat and I try to avoid it but I can't I'm trying to exercise but that's not helping at all I try not to eat as much but I'm afraid I will become anerexic (I know I spelled that wrong) WHAT DO I DO HELP ME!

    There is no average weight, because it depends so much on your size and how much you are grown. My eldest daughter was 20lb heavier at 12 than her sister, but they are both the right weight for their height and maturity.

    Ask your parents not to bring home sweets. Not eating sweets will not make you anorexic, and will improve your general health. No-one except elite athletes in endurance events NEEDS sweets. For most people, they are a route to weight gain and bad teeth.

    Eat normal meals, make sure you are getting the right amount of protein, healthy fats and green vegetables. Eat when you are hungry. Try not to eat unless you are hungry. As much as possible, eat real food, not fast food or processed stuff.

    Most schools have a few nasty people who will find something horrible to say about anyone. If you didn't get upset about your weight, they'd be cat calling you about the shape of your nose or the size of your feet.

    Kids these days are really mean about weight
    I realized most girls gain weight when they get their period, all my friends did and so did I, but then you start losing weight and by 14 or 15 your thin again

    Don't worry too much. I've been called many names before. To avoid people that insult you, stay
    Close with your friends. Ignore all the mean people, and don't try to get them back. If you do, things will become complicated and bad and you'll get stuck.
    Eat stuff like salad or vegetables.

    Hope you get better. Good luck and don't worry too much. It's all very common.
