How do I gain parental rights
I am not the biological father of my son. I call him my son because that's what he is to me. I was there before he was born, supported both the child and his mother, we were together for maybe another year after he was born and split up. I have had no problems with seeing my son, until now, the woman has a new boyfriend who does not want me in his life and she is trying to say I can not see him anymore. I would like to gain parental rights as the "father"

Were you married to the mother? If not what other "proof" do you have that you treated the child as your son? Have you been paying voluntary child support?
