I'm trying to find out the name of a movie but my memory of it is very faint. Here is all I know: It was about a little girl who's father dropped her off at what I'm assuming was a private school where there were other wealthy little girls but not all of them were rich. There also was a little black/african/haitian girl who was basically like a house servant. The little girl's father went to the military and was injured the lady over the school was under the impression that her father was dead. So since I guess her tuition couldn't be paid and the lady didn't want to throw the little girl out on the streets she made her go live upstairs with the little black girl and be a house servant. At the end of the movie the little girls father wasn't dead and he bumped into her but had amnesia but when she showed him the lockett with his and her pic in it he remembered her and saved her from that place. And they took the little black girl with them and I think the girl was like a princess or high royality or something but I'm not very sure.
If anybody knows the name of this movie please let me know it's really bugging me that I have no idea what it's called
Also I'm assuming it was around WWII time because of what the soldiar's were wearing and how the little girls were dressing. The little girls were dressed sort of like the girls from madeline.
