    Ac smell musky
    Just bought a new everest unit 3 t,made by goodman its 2 weeks old, now I'm getting a musky smell why, will it go away.thanks dan

    It could be many things. In the trade it is called dirty sock syndrome. I would contact the professional installer and let them figure it out since they installed and started up the equipment.

    Check this out as soon as possible. Sometimes this smell is leaking refrigerant
