I live in a 20 year old apartment complex. My upstairs neighbor turns on their bathroom sink and within seconds a loud clicking sound can be heard in my apartment. What might cause the loud click sound? Thanks in advance!

Hi, My home is only 2 years old but I noticed that in our powder room behind the pedastal sink I hear a dripping sound after using the hot water faucet.
