Sound but no picture when connecting portable DVD
I have a portable DVD player which I wish to connect to my TV and view the DVD through the TV. In other words, I want it to be by DVD player. It does not have a SCART connection. I have connected this via an AV/RCA cable - black into the AV out point on the portable DVD and yellow, white and red into the TV. When I connect yellow and white I get sound via the TV, but when I connect red I get a loud buzzing noise and no picture. Any ideas? Thanks.

Red and white are you audio cables and yellow is your video. Have you tried different combinations like leaving the red or white out while using the other two?

White gives me audio. Yellow gives me nothing. Red gives me the buzzing noise. All combinations tried.
