Why does my White-Rodgers Thermostat eat batteries?
I have a white-rodgers thermostat 1f80-51 that is about 7 years old. Recently, it began eating batteries. The 3 AAA batteries will only last about 2 or 3 days then die. Anybody have any idea what might be going on? Thanks

Not real familiar with the 1f80-51, but most w/r tstats can be hard wired with a common wire to c post,, and this will do away with the need for using batteries,, they then work off the 24 volts from the transformer on your airhandler
