I am about 7 days late.. I'm seeing brown spotting. I'm not on birth control. And have been seeing changes in my body. I'm not sure if I'm letting this get to my head or what but my last period was very abnormal also. But I'm gaining weight and not sure why.. could I be pregnant or can stress take a big tole on this?

At 7 days late it's doubtful that you'd be noticing changes in your body, other then a lack of period, or nausea, but actual weight gain, or showing, is not likely.

You said that your last period wasn't normal either. Have you taken a pregnancy test? What was the result? When did you take it?

Yes, stress can effect your period, so can a change in diet, weight gain, weight loss, medication, illness, and many other things.

If you're unsure whether your pregnant and pregnancy tests have been negative, then there's no harm in seeing your doctor.
