I want to move out of the house from my 19 y/o daughter
I am a 46 y/o woman who has been divorced for 7 years. I have a 19 y/o daughter, who stayed with me after my divorce. Since she has been 15 we have not gotten along. She is an only child. When I say no or discipline her she runs to one of her grandmothers or father and gets her way. We fight like cats and dogs. She does nothing around the house, can't cook, can't clean up after herself. She works a part time job and spends every dime she has. She has a boyfriend and they fight like cats and dogs too. She does go to college for dental hygiene, she has one year in and will only be attending part time in the fall, bascially because she is lazy. I want to move out. I've finally found my soul mate and I am ready to move on and move in with him. When I approached her about this she had a fit. (I actually rent a house from her father and she can stay there for nothing, except utilities) She asked how could I possibly leave her and that she is afraid to stay alone. Why is she guilting me?? She has no respect for me or anyone else for that fact. Should I move on or what? Please advise me...

Oh heck mom, move on and be happy. Let her complain to her dad and live rent free in a house he owns. I am sure he will be sick of your soon too, and maybe her b/f as well.
