    My father passed1/2010, I have EIN for 2009 taxes. Do I need another EIN for Estate?
    My father passed 1/9/10, in the state of Virginia. I have EIN for his 2009 taxes. Do I need another EIN for his Family Trust?

    You file his 2009 state and federal INCOME taxes using his SSN.

    Use the estate EIN for the trust or to file any estate tax return.
