etully, this is a simpler site than a chat site, we address questions on a volunteer basis, and in time, most questions can be answered, but you only need to ask once, three times is a little.. well.. annoying.

In the owners manual of a John Deere they show the belt diagrams.

If yours is like mine(an older model,175) I can offer guidance for the replacement.

With the deck off, looking from the rear of the deck.

    1) the left pulley for the blades, run belt around that pulley.

    2) from there,go around the right side pulley.

    3) from the left pulley, allow the belt to pass through the tension wheel, outside as the larger flat of the belt is what rides on the wheel, not the tapered groove.

    4) run belt over the rear pulley to the bottom groove.

    5) the tension arm which adjusts the rear pulley should have already been loosened, now tighten.

The main 'tower' pulley, the one with 2 pulleys stacked, should adjust as you install this belt.Remember there are no twists in the belt, flat to groove depending on the pulley, but no twists.

If this happens, perhaps the belt is warn and won't conform to the pulleys.Perhaps the pulleys are loose for some reason(hitting objects that put too much stress on them, large rocks, high dirt, tree roots, etc), if they are wobbly, they might need to be replaced.

    Hope this helped:)
