    I am being sued and taken to court what can I do?
    I signed for someone and now am being taken to court how can I fight this when it's not technically mine?

    It is understandable that since you co-signed that you are responsible for the debt as well as the originator. It is right there in the fine print at the bottom of the contract you signed.

    What do you mean you signed for someone? Did you sign a contract in that person's behalf?
