    Blower fan keeps shutting on/off
    Blower motor for central air runs normally for 20-30 minutes, then cycles on and off every few seconds. Fan and compressor in outside unit continue to run normally. Attached jumper wires to R and G and Y thermostat terminals with same result. Blower motor feels hot to touch. Does blower motor need replacement?

    The blower motor capacitor could be at fault. It is the cheapest item to try and replace since you probably do not have a capacitor testor.

I just replaced the flue-induction motor and fan (squirrel cage) on my 9 y.o. Bryant a/c/furnace unit. Now, after the themostat temp is reached and the propane ceases to fire, the blower fan doesn't shut off. It will run for hours if I let it. Any ideas? Thank you.

After my A/C condensing unit outside has shut off the blower in the furnace will not shut off. The switch on the blower is not on manual it is on off. The thermostat is not on, on it is on auto.
