Can I do anything about visitation problems?
I got divorced in 2005 and was given the standard Ohio visitation allowances, then in 2007 my ex gave me 2 weeks notice and up and moved to Florida with my 2 children. She did not get the court's permission, or notify them, and I was laid off and had no money to get an attorney to try to stop her. Before she left her and I wrote a paper up and had it notarized that said I get them every summer all summer and during I don't have to pay support during that time. The problem is she refuses to pay travel costs either way, I still have to pay support while they are here, and they are here now, but she keeps stopping and taking them for the day, and if I refuse to let her, she threatens to take them back to Florida now. Question, can she just take them in the middle of my visit? If the sheriff is called, will they just send the kids with her? Can I do anything with no money? I am laid off again. PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!! I love my kids and want to see more of them!

Probably yes. You have to go to Court ASAP and to settle the problems.

your piece of paper has little or no value at all. It does not change the legal visitation, you need to go back to court and get visitation properly done.

Right now you have no legal rights to the "paper" you did, and she can enforce the original agreement
