Help needed uncovering assay office mark
HI, I have what I believe to be a gold and diamond ring but I can not work out what the assay mark is supposed to be. It looks like a stick figure sitting side on with a rucksack on its back. That really is the only way I can describe it. There is no detail at all on this mark, not sure whether it is meant to be like this or if the detail has worn off. The actuall hallmark reads crown, 18, funny assay mark, very fancy m with the bottom bits curling outwards, followed by the inscription 377 which is not stamped within a box like the other marks. Also looks to have the intials J H stamed, each within its own circular box, I believe this is the sponsors mark although would like to know if anyone has any other ideas on this. Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you
