Mother didn't leave a will, and half of her accounts in the bank has benficaries
The bank would not accept the form letter from the funeral stating that I paid for the funeral because she own a house. I don't think she had 100,000 in assets, including the house. There are six siblings to divide her assets. Is hiring a probate lawyer necessary?

    Hi, stillbad1020!

In order for everything to be sorted out in a legal and proper way, yes, it would be advisable to hire an attorney for services.

    Thanks!
