My husband has a habit of staying out all night. It is not all the time, but has happened three to four times since March. He usually goes over to his mom's house where his brother lives. They start drinking and then he does not come home until morning. He tells me that I should be happy that he was responsible and did not drive home intoxicated. He says any wife would not mind. Last night, he left the house with a friend to check on a job and stated that he would back shortly. He did not return until 6 hours later. No phone call either. Again, he should be able to go out with friends and of course I have the choker collar on him. Most of his friends are drinkers. I do not mind him going out with friends, but I don't like how he approaches it and I wish he was responsible. I have been married for 11 years and it seems to be getting worse. Am I being too controlling? I just think that men should not behave this way. I am 35 years old and feel like I am getting too old for this.

His drinking seems to be a problem for the marriage. Why don't you join him on one of these expeditions? You two can have fun together.
