Kitchen faucet causes banging noise in the wall
My kitchen faucet has hot and cold water. Since last week, whenever I open the cold water, it starts shaking and I hear a loud banging noise in the wall to the right of the faucet. This does not happen when we open the hot water in the same faucet.
Your answers are really appreciated.

I am not sure what the brand is, it doesn't say. But, the handle is on the side. How do I check if the seal is loose?

Shut the water off under the sink, open up the faucet and remove the cartridge. Check the inlet ports for trash and clean if necessary. Now place a pan over the faucet and turn the cold water on for a few seconds to flush out the supply. Reassemble an test. To tell you more I would need the brand name and it's age. Good luck, Tom

I'll do that as soon as I finish work. I will follow the direction you gave me, and update you later. I don't know the brand but I can tell you that it is at least 9 years old. :o
Thank you again for your responses, and I'll check back with you later.
