    Ex husband not paying taxes
    We filed jointly for 08, We both owe some taxes. My accountant broke it down to who owes what. I'm almost down with my portion but he hasn't paid anything. What do I do?

    Talk to him about it. But, since you filed jointly, you are liable for the taxes on the joint return.

    If you do not like ths unfair burden of paying all of the tax, filing separately for 2010, but, for 2009, once you file jointly, it is an irrevocable decision after the 15 April 2010 filing deadline passes, unless the joint filing was itself illegal.
