    Blower fan slow
    HI,

Fan runs very slow after I give it a push. I replaced the run capacitor and no change. I'm wondering if I have the capacitor hooked up correctly. I have two brown wires and one white wire, the two brown wires are hooked to one terminal of the cap and the white wire is hooked to the other terminal. Is that correct? Shame on me for not making a note of that prior to removing the wires from the old cap. If I have hooked the wires up correctly, does this mean a new motor is in order? By the way this is an older Ruud furnace.

    Thanks
