    Failure to disclose ongoing water problem
    High water table - not disclosed by seller. House had basement flooding problem in the past, seller reported it as one time water seepage-basement flooded because of power outage - not true.

    How will you be able to prove this in court? I say court because , most likey, you want out of the deal or money to fix the problem. A judge may agree but only if you can prove what you say is true .

    Failure to disclose ongoing water problem
    House listing noted that there was a one-time water seepage due to electrical storm that cut off electricity. Found out that there was no outage and that water seepage was nearly a foot in basement on more than one occasion.
    Brought suit against previous owner - won judgement - do we have to pay taxes on this judgement and if so, what per cent?
