80's/90's fantasy movie
The movie starts with a family driving home (I think) in the snow. They crash and one, maybe more, of the kids ends up transported to a fantasy world. It might be a dream sequence... Anyway, the other world is, like, Mother Goose stuff and the villain of the movie goes around in a giant black bowling ball. Ring any bells? I've been trying to find it for years and it's driving me crazy. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
