    Trane heat pump troubleshooting
    My compressor will run for a few seconds then shut off the tech reported the pressure was near 700 lbs and recently he replaced the pressure for this same problem he reported the switch was bad due to contamination in the system blocking the switch fom working he said I either need to replce the system or replace the switch again and hope contamination will not block the switch from operating again any suggestions I only had the system for 6 years

    Something is wrong with the picture the service man painted OR you did not explain his answer correctly. 700 pounds is WAY to high and indicates an overcharge condition.
