half bath or tiny full bath
Hello. I have a half bath in the master bedroom of my condo. It measures 5' x 4'. Was wondering if it's worth converting to a quarter bath, that is, add a shower. I've searched the availability of the fixtures, but with the possible layout, it would leave about an inch or two between the vanity, the toilet and the shower. Therefore, with a shower, it will be one tight, tiny bathroom. In your opinion, would this be a wise decision to convert if in the future I wish to sell my place?

Alternatively, I could get rid of my tiny walk in closet to make way for the shower but again, concerned if this is a smart move.

    Would appreciate any thoughts. Thanks.

If you want to sell the condo than that probably wouldn't be a good idea. Leaving that little room would turn a lot of buyers away. And taking out the walk-in closet would turn a lot away as well. Something that would work would be to take the sink out and put the shower in. Move the sink to the bedroom right next to the bathroom. Build a half wall on the other side of the sink. And make it like a vanity with a seat that fits under it. This was done to a vacation home I stayed at that had the same problem with the bathroom being to small but they were able to put in a full bathtub.
