Haha that's hilarious Hheath. French toast to corn on the cob.

You can always get those waffles that go in the toaster Blacky, and slap some butter and brown sugar on them, Yum!

No, it's a little off the spectrum. What ever. No biggie.

After fending off about 50 cats while I was eating, I gave them my plate. The kittens are diligently eating every tiny bit of corn left on the cobs. I think I just found the best cat treat EVER!

Try the drained off juice from tuna. The dog I used to have loved it.

Today was an eventful day, even though I've done basically nothing all day.

Mop may have a home. A friend of my neighbors was visiting. He had a cat that looked a lot like mop that had to be put down. He wants mop and asked me to keep him for now. Mop may have a new home, and a new name, in a few weeks.

I took spot outside and he met a doggie and a couple kids and walked in the grass. He's still not sure how he feels about the whole thing. I'm going to get a real harness, once I find one, and get him used to going outside on walks.

Edith loves tuna water. The kittens don't care one way or the other. The certainly liked the corn cobs, though.

He'd name him boots, after the last cat he had. Not the most original name for a cat with white stockings, but I don't think mop would mind.

Not yet. A big part of me just doesn't want to let them go. They're my babies.

As much as I'm looking forward to only having to clean up after 3 cats, I didn't realize how much I'd missed having a bunch of cats around. I spent 2 years surrounded by 5 cats, and then 9 after one of the 'boys' had babies.

I think I'll be OK, though, if I know they're going to good homes where they'll be loved and cared for and treated like the little people they are.

Happy Memorial Day to those in the US!!

We had a cook out today, went the whole way again, about 50 or so people and kids. Tents (95 today with 97% humidity), fans blowing water mists, music, Tiki torches, cheeseburgers, bratwurst, hot dogs, potato salad, regular salads, lots of fruits, cold shrimp, Coronas, Mikes, Mohitas (sp), wines, chocolate cake, hot apple pie, ice creams, banana & grape pop cycles... and dancing at night on the patio, very romantic... :)

Started at 4 PM and the last guests just left at 12:25 AM. Great time for everyone, they all seemed to have had enough to eat (we have tons of food left as always) .

I put a lot of little US flags all over the landscaping in the front and back with a very large one in the middle with Tiki torches all around...

It was fun... man am I full...

Marta was a fantastic hostess as always, she can almost do anything, including leading a political conversation... :)

I hope all have a great holiday!

    Sounds like quite a bash.

For those readers in uniform, thanks for protecting my kids. Your job these days is harder than when I did it, but at least we're allowed to know you're doing it.
