    Personal home budget
    Hi,
    I want to prepare a personal home expenses monthly budget planner in excel sheet. I would appreciate if you could provide me the budget planner in excel sheet.
    I have attached a excel sheet but it's a very complicated and not proper in format sheet. I want to modify it more easy and simple where I can easily put the day to day expenses as per the category and see the summarise data also.

    What version of Excel? If you have 2007 and you select File>New, there is a list of template categories. Under Budgets there are several personal and family budget templates. Have you tried them?

    If you have an earlier version, you can find templates at microsoft.com.

    Also, have you considered Quicken or Money? Both have budgetting features.
