    Push rod mix up.
    I have an 18.5 briggs engine model 31P777. I am installing a short block. When I took off the head, the push rods fell out. They look a little different, which one is intake +/or exhaust? One is round like a ball at the end, one is more cylindrical.

    One is aluminum the other is steel.
    The alum. Gos in the exhaust,the other goes to the intake,the alum is the shiny one it's the fat one also.
