    Red bumps on skin
The other night, I was sitting outside and I noticed that it looked like a bug had bitten me on my right wrist. Now it is 2 days later. I have about 6 small red itchy bumps around my R wrist, 14 bumps on my R inside elbow, 2 on my left arm, a few extra small bumps on my L inside elbow, a few coming up on my L wrist, and a couple on each leg. WHAT IS GOING ON?? The local natural pharmacist said it may be scabies but the vet said that I would have definitely noticed one of our animals if they were infected with scabies. I don't know what to think. Benedryl kept it from itching but then it spread. Hydrocortisone cream and ointment do not stop the itch. Calyamin lotion doesn't stop the itch. The only thing that will stop the itch and calm it down seems to be Vick's Vapor Rub mixed with Tea Tree Oil rubed over the bumps. Someone please help me?! I have pix of bumps if needed. Thank you!

Ruth: I really don't have an answer to your question, but I strongly advice you to go to a dermatologist instead of asking the Vet and the Natural Pharmacist. Nothing against either of them, but if neither of their solutions has worked, then I don't think it would be wise to wait for it to keep spreading, don't you agree? Please keep us posted in case the doctor figuer out what is going on.

I currently do not have any insurance so I will probably just go to my family Dr. after the Memorial Day holiday if it gets worse. I will update on what they said.

I have an update - I now believe that it is Poison Oak rash. It is horrible uncomfortable but it is not spreading anymore. I am doctoring it myself with benedryl and rubbing alcohol/calamyin lotion. It is getting better.

I have been wearing pants for two years and a jacket for almost a year (no matter what the weather) so I can pale out. My arms and legs though, are embarrassingly red. Apparently, it's increased blood flow to those areas, and it's a genetic trait of Northern Europeans. I want to use whitening...

Little Red Bumps [ 3 Answers ]

Hi. So back in April, these little red bumps began appearing around my vaginal area and a little onto my lower butt. I went to the gynecologist in June and she said that it wasn't herpes or any other kind of STD, but that it was just a rash that would go away on its own. It's now almost October...
