Yes, "don't ask don't tell". I really feel secure being on this site!
You'll come to pay your respects to me prior to my internment in the grand piano case, won't you?

I first thought Radioactive was a well-spoken young man about 14 y/o (the name). I thought KBC was an alien from a distant star (the avatar). Now I read posts carefully for clues to gender, race, ethnic origin, location, age, and if someone is a dog or cat person.

Distant indeed:D(Like a few hours distant at the most)
Gender issues aside, I wonder if we could entice some of the others on to here, just for fun:p

The reason I have the avy I do is so there's no confusion about my gender. Sadly I still get the occasional "sir" on this site.
Just call me bunny babe. Oooh, that should have been my username!

The gender of the avy doesn't guarantee the gender of the person. "Altenweg" sounds like the name of a male gnome or someone in The Hobbit -- "Bilbo and Altenweg slung the bags of truffles over their shoulders and tromped out of the forest."
I've noticed the "sir" thing is usually done to both male and female by non-native-English-speaking Asians who are excruciatingly polite.

I've been called sir a few times. East Indians were the ones who called me that. I thought it was kind of funny.
I had this feeling it wasn't KBC, Well I am sure KBC is a hunk too. Now we just need some pics to back that up! ;)

It's raining here and my son mowed ours yesterday. He'll do yours tomorrow if the weather's good in your neck of the woods and if you pay him in homemade chocolate chip cookies (pecan or walnut pieces optional).

Usernames and avatars

I'm just curious about the significance of everyone's usernames and avatars, if you have an avatar. For me, my username is orange because orange is my favorite color and also my favorite fruit. :) My avatar is a painting I did for a friend, of her cat that died a while back.
