Hi,

My parents are split-up and my father stopped paying his credit card bill over a year ago. Today, he got a letter in the mail stating that he is being sued by the credit card company for $11,908. He doesn't plan on going on the court date or doing anything about it. I really don't care what happens to him financially, but I would like to what kind of repercussions this will have on my mother and my two sisters.

It only matters if your mom is a secondary card holder. They could come after her for the money.
