    Both unemployed if divorce, will pay alimony?
    I've been married for 7 years and my husband never works but stay at home. He tries to write a book and never get published. I am breadwinner and pay all bills for last 7 years now I was laid off and I'm on unemployment benefit. My unemployment benefit already ran out yet I still haven't found job. I consider divorcing him. I wonder if I will have to pay him alimony. I don't have kids.

    If you aren't employed either, I don't see how they could possibly order you to pay support. To be absolutely sure, ask your attorney.
