I woke up Thursday morning at 5:30 a.m. and immediately knew I was about to throw up. I felt like I was getting really hot, which was odd due to the fact I'm very cold-natured. I had not eaten much at all the day before, so all I kept throwing up was a yellow/bile-like substance. I proceeded to throw up four more times until I went to work at 10:00 a.m. I got a gatorade, but threw it back up about an hour after drinking it. I felt suddenly energized after getting sick and went back to work. I was a little over a week late with my period and started it at work. It was a lighter pink color, not bright red or darker like normal. I had also been having a brown spotting very lightly two days pre-sick. I felt extremely tired and slept for several hours that evening, but I was convinced I had caught a stomach bug, so I didn't want to try and eat anything that would not settle. I felt extremely tired the next day and still wasn't able to eat much and even threw up after eating a couple bites of an hour. My period went away that night. It is now Saturday and my belly feels back to normal, but having a few tired spells and still no more period. Also my boyfriend (who lives and sleeps right next to me) has not caught this so called stomach bug. Am I pregnant or is this just a matter of stomach bug causing me not be able to eat anything and make my period go away??

What did your pregnancy test say ?

It could be that or a dozen other things

I too would like to know if you got a negative outcome on a pregnancy test. If so, it may be too early to test. I would try another, make sure to use first morning urine.

If it's still negative, wait until your next period is due and retest then, again using first morning urine.
