I Have Centrifuge machine, Rotofix 32 A of Hettich company. It all mother board become bad.I want to run its motor with a new circuit. Its motor have 5 terminals, 3 (Red, Black, Yellow) are have about 6.5ohms with each other. When I rotat the rotor then on any two terminals there are about 2 Ac volts produced.other Two terminals ( both White) are having about 7 ohms and these two are labeld for Temp sens, (or may be used for Tacho meter).1= can I avoid there two terminals. 2= how I can connect dc 230 volts on 3 terminals (Red, black and yellow)( label on Motor is 200 v 18000 rmp 230 W , 230 Type. And how I can control the speed of the motor, as before it was running 6000 RMP. Any one who can help me in this regard .

Your going to have to do you ohm measurements again. I don't buy them.

I'll actually bet it's a DC motor, but unsure of the type. Direct Current Motors, Series Wound DC Motors, Compound Wound Motors, Squirrel Cage Induction Motors, Wound Rotor Induction Motors, Single Phase Induction Motor, Mumbai, India

90 V is common for a DC motor. 200 is an odd voltage.

Yep, a tach makes a lot of sense. A DC voltage based RPM usually. Could also be AC or from a magnetic reluctance pickup in which it would be a series of pulses.

The winding could also be a brake or braking could be dynamic and that might be a good reason for 3 wires.
