    Expenses Allocation
    Hi, Im Samara , Senoir Accountant working in one of the largest telecommunication co. in saudia arabia, appreciate if you can advice rgarding to the best strategy to Allocate the Operation Expenses according to the profit Centers, specialy if there is deferent suctions have deferent core business, deferent employees, in one outlet or branch.

    Expense allocation is either based on head count, square footage, or percentage. You have to find out which method your company is using to allocate operation expenses.

    Is this for real? I would think the largest telecommunications company would hire a cost accountant who actually knows how to do cost accounting, and considering it's a specialty area, one who knows how to do it better than any of us here.

    Senior accountants of large companies don't generally come to places like this to ask questions like that.
