    Plumbing/can I lay a combo on its back ,when doing a rough-in
    I am planning to add a second rest-room.need to know when laying out my rough-in ,can I lay a combo on its back

    Surec can! And on its side also. Bet you're thinking of a sanitary tee which is not used under the pour. Good luck, Tom

    I work under UPC. Here. We use one piece Comby as transition from vertical to horizontal. We use "Y" and "45" fitting ( Street or Regular ) glued together for horizontal transitions.

    Please explain the difference between a combination wye and eighth bend ( you call them "coimby" and we call them combo) and a eighth bend you glue into a wye. Or is this just another UPC requirement , such as the counter top air gap thingy, that defies reasoning and good common sense? LOL!
