Hheath, I am so sorry to hear about your day. Does your state offer Employment Insurance?

Alty that video made me laugh out loud. Too funny. But you can keep your clap. :p

I'd say, at the top of my lungs "Whose child is this?!" and then walk away. ;)

Not as far as I know. Even if they did, I doubt I would qualify. I was getting paid under the table, so there's no pay stubs or taxes or anything.

Right now, I'm focusing on the fact that I get to see my sister and the kids in a week. And, since I don't have to go to work, it should be no problem to get everything cleaned and pretty and organized for when they get here.

What's even better, she's giving me her old vacuum. For the first time since I moved in, I'll be able to vacuum my floors. When you have one person and seven cats in an apartment, the carpets can get pretty bad if you can't vacuum for almost 3 months.

So do I. and I plan on doing everything I can to make sure I don't have to lose all of them. As long as I have a roof, they'll have a home. Even if it means I can't buy toilet paper and I have to start hauling sand from the beach to use as litter. Knowing they need me is the only thing keeping me from having a complete breakdown and giving up.

Thank you. Right now I need all the luck and good vibes I can get. Until then, I have a feline family that needs me and helps cheer me up, and a human family I'm going to see for the first time in 9-10 months. Six furry babies I see all the time, and a six-month old baby I finally get to meet.

Life still has its bright spots. I just have to hold on to them as tight as I can.

Seven of them live with me right now. I may not have a job or any friends of family nearby, but I have my kitties. For right this moment, that's enough.

I'm here. Just watching aura stalk my ant. At least I think it's only one ant. Doesn't really matter. Aura is having fun smacking it repeatedly.
