Ok people I need your help on this one. I'm 21 years old. And there is a movie I think from the early 90s late 80s. (not sure). It's a movie I completely forgot about since I watched it over 15 years ago. Just a few pieces came to find recently and I'm going to try to describe it so maybe we can figure this out!

The movie is basically something like the mother dies. She has several kids. The ambulance and police come to the house. The kids are very sad. There is no one that will take the kids. So they find out there being sent to DHR to be put in foster homes. And even worse separated. The kids are very sad. And are sent away. Not long after the order brother and sister help break everyone out. And hear there is a uncle they never met somewhere far away. So there all under age. They steal a car. And head on a long trip with many road blocks in there way. Have hardly no money. So they are eating things like ketchup and crackers. Finally at the end they get to there uncles that also never knew them and he turns out to be rich. With a ranch and plane. He doesn't know what to do at first. But comes around and lets them all stay and live with him and his family! ( o by the way the car they stole was a old bettle bug!) happy ending.. I really want to see this movie again from my child hood. I'm sure we can figure this out!

I just remembered there's a dog too. I think he gets hurt are something along the way. Maybe dies. Not sure.
