I really want to buy a tan in a bottle, any ideas on one that works well, and doesn't change your skin orange; also any tips on applying?

I haven't bought it for years, so I'm not 100% sure they even still make it. But I used to use neutrogena's gradual tan. It's a set. There's an exfoliator that you use in the shower and then right after you put the lotion on. Make sure you put it on evenly, not too heavy, not too light anywhere. And wash your hands right away after.

I was wondering if the spray would be better for perfect all around tan. But I am really nervous about changing a color that's not a tan lol.

I could never use a spray. My cousin used to use a spray. I don't remember which one. But it would take her forever to get it just right. And then she'd make me or her sister do her back so that could be just right too. I guess it just depends on how good you are with a spray can. I'm not all that good with one. You could always try it out before you actually plan on wearing shorts or a skirt, you know, try it out on just your legs on a day you can cover it with long pants in case you mess is up
