The Secret Diary of a Call Girl. It's such a good show! I love it!
Someday, I need to watch it because I really like watching Billy Piper.
How is moving going?

A lot of naked Billy Piper. Lots of sex that's for sure. I thought I wouldn't really take any interest in a show about a hooker but it's really good. Kind of like Nip/Tuck... I'm a sucker for series... ooh like Nurse Jackie..
Lol that is what I do on my free time.. watch shows online:D
Hey Starty :) Why so grumpy? Need a massage with a happy ending? Lol I ask because I'm there... haha

A happy ending?
So I caught that mouse that was in my stove. And she was definitely pregnant. But I just saw another one behind my T.V!!
I want to cry! I don't understand where they are coming in from!

Bella, mice can come in through the smallest holes and gaps. Good luck getting rid of them.

Do you think they could be coming in from where I put my hot water heater? It's in my closet.

You get mouse traps and keep putting them out till you don't kill anymore for a while! GO NOW... I am in the same boat... heard it in my sons wall and now I got to go get some traps. (not to mention the two mice in the living room in the past couple days from the cats "playing" with them!)

I saw a mouse last night...
It darted across the floor, stopped just in front of the linen cabinet, gave me a look or "ner-ner-ne-ner-nerr" and darted under a 1cm gap under the door.
He is gone now... so is his friend ;)

Did you use snap traps Shaz? Grr. I hate mice. They should all be banished to some island with animal abusers and rabid bears. Oh and they should be dipped in bacon grease before they land!

If you guys would borrow a snake from a local herpetologist the mice would be gone or digested within two weeks. Shaz, make sure it's a constrictor; you get nasty venoms down under.

How small can you get restrictors? I have little dogs remember :D
I use snap traps, but not the standard wooden base with a metal snap bit, mine are made from solid plastic with just a metal hinge/spring/thing... I find it does more damage so makes it faster.

T-rex traps are effective, but sometimes harder to set than the old fashioned ones. More especially they only work when Mickey has a restricted runway. Otherwise he goes around.
Constrictors can be a small as eighteen inches. Some Ball pythons only get to 24. Restrictors keep race cars safer.

Were the openings sealed around the pipes?

Oh you shoosh, I don't know anything about snakes :p
I just googled the T-rex trap, yup that's pretty much what I have, just without the spiky edges.
Edit - yeah I have mine in small spaces like he gap behind the TV cabinet or behind the water heater.

Yes Cat there looks like there is more than enough room for a pest to get in. I shoved some bounce sheets in the openings. My room smells nice and fresh. I may have to borrow the neighbors cat for a week end!
I don't like killing things, but these little buggers are on Bella's ever loving last nerve. Time to play dirty!

Better yet, play for keeps. Pick up some polyurethane foam sealant. It looks like a shaving cream can with a tube on the nozzle. It blows into the gap and expands like shaving cream so they can't get in. They don't like the taste, either, so they won't gnaw through it again. If the hole is too large, stuff it with one of those copper scouring pads then foam it.

Speaking of pests, I think I have rats or mice or something in the roof of my house... we can hear them running around in there at night... they may be in the walls too... might have to do something about that sometime...
