    Hi, Metalhead11592!

Have you tried advertising on the Internet or in the newspaper for another bass player?

    Thanks!

    Hi again, Metalhead11592!

The following would be good sites on which to advertise. They get excellent exposure on the search engines when people look for things. They are all free to use.

craigslist: north jersey classifieds for jobs, apartments, personals, for sale, services, community, and events

    Welcome to Hoobly

DomesticSale - The Effective Free Classifieds

new jersey classifieds for apts, jobs, for sale, personals - backpage.com

Free Classifieds, Want Ads, Newspaper Classifieds, Free Advertising, Marketing, Free Ads USA Free Classifieds - Online newspaper classified ads serving the USA Free Classifieds, Free Advertising

Oodle Classifieds - Search Classifieds and Post Free Classifieds

In order to get the best exposure, how the ads are worded is very important. I'd be willing to work with you on how to word the ads, if you would like?

By the way, I'm also a bass player!

    Thanks!

    Would that include airfare? :)

I'll be around here much later this evening, if you're interested in how to word ads.

And if you have real problems getting a bass player, just hire someone like Sid Vicious. Ha ha.

No really, ask your other friends that like to listen to similar music. Some may like the idea of playing an instrument but didn't know where to start.

I would be asking like that but these people are at some bigger names level and I wouldn't want to insult them by getting someone who is just brand new and Clough I would like that help wording the advertisement.

Try Craigslist and post flyers in Guitar Center or whatever music store is big in your area. I've had luck with it.

Bass players are hard to find.

Sure! I'll be glad to help you with the wording of an ad, Metalhead11592!

Please list for me, any of the local towns and cities where you might play as well as some of the names of the people who wrote the music and or lyrics to what you play.

I already know that it's alternative/rock/metal type of music. However, we'll also need to be more specific about that...

    Thanks!

Bass players arnt hard to find. Just get a guitarist and get them to do it.

Vocalists, THEY are hard to find. And I mean the ones who sing without playing an instrument at the same time

Did you ever play the bass for a band, Riot? Also, it's much harder to find vocalists who both play and sing credibly at the same time.

Did you ever place that ad online, Metalhead11592?

The bass player for the bangles from the early 80's to 2005 was Michael Steele. I've never heard her name spoken out loud, and I would like to know how it is pronounced. Is it Mike-All or Mick-Kay-All? Also, I'd like to know why she left the band in 2005. Thank you.
