Ultra clean diet. Fresh whole food, no processed food, no junk, absolutely no transfats. Small frequent meals, no pig-outs on high fat food, but don't avoid healthy fats either.

Drink plenty of fluids, especially water. Cut right back on foods with saturated fats. Avoid all fried and processed foods. Some sources recommend avoiding homogenised milk, but I know finding unhomogenised is not easy in some places - might be wise to switch to skimmed if you can only get homogenised. Incidentally there are some researchers who believe homogenised milk contributes very strongly to heart problems, and I'm sure you have already been advised about saturated fats if you have a heart condition.

Drink a mixture of apple and lemon juice.

Herbs which have been found helpful include dandelion, rosemary, milk-thistle and turmeric. You would need to check your heart meds information for any contraindications.

Homoeopathy can also be very helpful, you would need to find a qualified homoeopath.

Good luck finding something which helps.
