    Transferring to the US, bringing funds with me, tax liability?
    We are moving to the us. My wife is a us citizen. I am selling my house and its contens (seperatly) as it is my main residance I am not liable for any tax here (irl) will I be liable for any us tax on funds left after paying off my mortgage here?

    No, you should not be liable for any U.S. taxes.
