How to dye dark brown hair red?
Hi, everyone. My natural hair color is dark brown but I want to dye it exactly this shade of red:

I tried finding that hair dye but I didn't find any. And I tried dyeing my hair red but all hair colors turned out too dark or too unnatural. So, can anyone tell me how to achieve this color? Thanks in advance!

Do you have a sallys by you? I get my hair dye there it comes in a small brown bottle. I went from med and dark brown to red and it turned out fine. But just make sure you want you hair red. Cause when I colored over it the red has yet to go away.

Unfortunately, I don't have that store anywhere near me. Another person also told me that I can find a lot of hair dyes there.
I'm sure I want it to be red and I know that it takes a lot of time to go away. But any color I tried just turns out too unnatural.

If that's the case, what I would do is start with red high lights and work it in your hair that way so it wouldn't come out unnatural. It always takes baby steps to make it perfect on how you want something. And I swear by sallys. They have a website maybe you could order off that? I know it sounds like you'll be going out of your way just for hair dye. But it really is amazing

Well, what I meant by unnatural is that it turns out red red, and I'm trying to achieve a natural darker red hair color like that on the picture. I don't really like red red.
I'd try ordering from sally's, but there are a lot of stores here with a wide hair color selection, I just obviously don't know what to do to achieve the color I want. And plus, I'm pretty sure that the postage from there to Croatia would be pretty high.

Awe I'm sorry that didn't help. The only other thing I can think of is if you go to a hair salon and just ask them a few questions.
