Low water pressure on hot water side in tub.
I've seen several questions similar to this, but I can't find the answer I'm looking for.
My house was built in the 50's or 60's, and the tub has dual faucets - hot and cold and the shower knob in the center which turns left or right. The hot water faucet over the years has leaked a lot, and it got to where we had to replace the rubber washer frequently. In the past 6 year or so, we haven't had to replace the washer as often but the pressure has dropped to a trickle (as of yesterday) where we cannot even use the tub! Removed the faucet and turned the main water on and got a hard pressure from the main, so I know its getting water, its just somewhere in the joints from the main to faucet. Cold water pressure is fine in the tub, and everywhere else in the house everything is perfect.
We used a hanger and tried to fish out anything that might be clogging the pipes but no luck with that either.

If u are getting water with valve stem out, it would appear stem is problem. Try replacing the valve. As u have the stem out, check the seat. If u can feel or see any nicks on it, replace.

Let us know how u make out.
