    managerial accounting help
    Find the variable cost per snow cone using the high low method: refer to following table.
    Month # of cones Total operating cost
    Jan. 7,200 $4,700
    Feb. 7,800 $4,800
    Mar. 6,400 $4,600
    April 6,600 $4,500
    May 7,700 $5,100
    June 7,250 $5,000
    I came up with 0.143 and wanted to compare my answer with someone else's since this is my first time trying this.

    I would like you to show us how you got .143
    Please state clearly your assumptions.
    I have checked you out and I finished with .142
    I have made a few averageing assumptions.
    I honestly believe that our answers are both correct.

    There aren't any rounding assumptions. The numbers used for the calculations are whole numbers. And the final answer rounds to .143 if you're doing 3 decimal places.
