How much to charge for 7994 sqft of painting in an office
I was sent to quote a job for a full office building to paint roughly 7994 sqft of office walls no ceilings no patch watch but lots of cuts for doors and windows already figured I'm looking at about 20 gallons of paint they also want it done over the weekend starting at 2pm on a Friday to be ready for Monday morning rouhgly 8am I figured somewhere around 5500 just in labour and about 1000 for tape tarps and other supplies needed to finish the job any help or feedback would be great!

Was this figured on cost of materials and a charge per square foot for labor?

Well to get the 5500 I figured I have 58 hours to complete the project and divided it by $90 which came to about 5200 I bumped it up 300 I was reading another article here which said you could charge around .50 a sqft which worked out to around 4000 which isn't bad I just wanted some opinions on what the fairest price would be and I'm planning on using sherwin willams paint with there self primer built in and the top quality paint as well so only 1 coat should be enough

Hi, onemenace!
Is this a change in color(s) at all from what's already in the office and what will you be using to apply the paint, please?
Thanks!

Hi again, onemenace!
I asked you earlier how you would be applying the paint.
Also, if this is a change in color, you're almost certainly going to need at least two coats for the paint job to look the best.
Thanks!
