Actually, YES, there IS a need to tell your age.

We do not provide answers on the adult sexuality boards to anyone who is not an adult.

Yup... you can lie about your age.

But if you (or your parents) come back later and say "Hey, I (she) am (is) only 13---what the heck are you doing giving me (her) advice about sex?!", then we're covered legally because you TOLD us you were 18 or older.

I also just don't give advice about to anyone under 18 on general principles.

To answer your question: It varies from person to person. I know women who bled profusely, others just had a small amount of spotting, and I didn't have any blood---but I'd broken my hymen participating in sports when I was a child.

The amount of pain also varies from person to person--the thickness of the hymen, the general health of the woman, the amount of arousal, and sometimes genetic issues can play a part in how much pain there is.

As to how it feels--well, that's also going to vary by the person.

The thing that's really important about the first time you have sex, is that you do it willingly, hopefully with love, and that you're aroused and relaxed.

If you're aroused and willing (even if you are slightly apprehensive), it will all feel natural, and if you have a caring loving partner, the experience will be one that you will remember not one that you regret.

The really important thing about your first sexual experience is that you take your time and that you don't rush into it. Relaxation and arousal are the keys to it being pleasurable rather than unpleasant.

First time for sex is different for everyone... it may hurt and it may not.there may be blood and there might not be.everyone's body is different.if you still have concerns I suggest you contact your gynecologist and ask him/her to speak with you about it or ask your mom.
