Can I leave the country after applying for TR in australia
Hi I'm on student visa and this it will expire on 30 dec 2010 , I'm planning to launch TR and I'm wondering if I can leave the country once I apply for TR in australia... please help me out with this.

You can visit immi office and ask for bridging B visa. Ease in mind, they will give you the max 3 months the 1st time you go oversea after lodging TR application, but don't mention about it.. Let them do the job. Ask them nicely and you surely get it. I've done it and have no trouble at all.
